I was born and raised in a small town in the Swiss mountains. Outside my windows, more trees and cows rather than humans.
A childhood almost away from civilisation gave me the necessary time to develop a big passion for technology, starting from videogames and movies – pure enchantment, at my eyes.
Stepped onto the path of following my nerdy dream, I have initially specialised in physics and mathematics, only to find out later on that coding all the time, with no visual and emotional feedback, was pretty tedious. I then graduated in Visual Communication and completed my master in Interaction Design.
I am passionate about both the HOW (visual) and the WHY (interaction) aspects of a system, but also because I like to think and imagine beyond reality and with a “what could it be” approach.
I strongly believe in the power of motion design, which I don’t see as a mere way of making something look nicer but it can, and should be used as a storytelling tool. If an image is worth 1000 words, motion increases that number exponentially.
Although people say I’m skilled in multiple design aspects, I like to think of myself as a lover of prototypes and animations.
